Flood Emergency through Tonight! FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR MUCH OF CENTRAL KENTUCKY THROUGH TONIGHT

PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN THAT BEGAN EARLY SATURDAY MORNING...HAVE CONTINUED TODAY AND WILL CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING. THIS WILL RESULT IN CONTINUED WIDESPREAD AREAL AND FLASH FLOODING...MAINLY ACROSS CENTRAL KENTUCKY.

PLEASE HELP PASS THE MESSAGE, "STOP TURN AROUND DON'T DROWN"!

Each year hundereds perish senselessly while tryin to drive or walk through flooded roadways.

THERE ARE NUMEROUS ROADS CLOSED IN SIMPSON COUNTY. WHILE DOING A DRIVING INSPECTION OF THE AREA, IT WAS DISHEARTENING TO SEE PEOPLE COMPLETELY DISREGARD THE ROAD CLOSED SIGNS AND BARRACADES. PLEASE... STAY OFF THE ROADS TONIGHT...
