POSSIBLE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION MAINLY LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING HOURS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A CONTINUED MOIST AIRMASS WILL MAKE FOR MUGGY CONDITIONS TODAY AND
WILL BRING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION MAINLY
LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING HOURS. THE MAIN THREATS
FOR TODAY`S STORMS WILL BE BRIEF GUSTY WINDS...TORRENTIAL
RAINFALL...AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. THE STORMS SHOULD
MOVE FAST ENOUGH TO PREVENT FLASH FLOODING...BUT MINOR PONDING OF
ROADWAYS IS POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. WIDESPREAD

THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED ON THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT AS
A COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE AREA. HEAVY RAINFALL...DAMAGING WINDS
AND CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.
PRECIPITATION CHANCES WILL BEGIN TO DWINDLE FRIDAY MORNING FROM
NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST AS THE COLD FRONT PASS THROUGH THE OUTLOOK
AREA.

SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REPORT INSTANCES OF TORRENTIAL RAINFALL
AND GUSTY WINDS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE THROUGH FRIDAY.
