Over the last couple of weeks, tailgate thefts from vehicles in business parking lots has been on the rise. The Hesperia Police Department encourages citizens to buy a tailgate lock for their vehicle. If anyone sees someone removing a tailgate, call 911 immediately and report it. White Ford F150s, appear to be the pickup truck most targeted by thieves.
