The Auburn Hills Police Department has noted an increase in larceny from vehicles. Most of the thefts have occurred in the late evening to early morning hours. The primary method of entry is smashing the window and reaching in to grab an item. Most items that have been stolen are small electronics such as GPS units and IPods.
The Auburn Hills Police Department encourages residents to contact the police anytime they see anything suspicious. Report such things such as type and color of clothing, age, height, build, gender, race and the last location seen.

Conceal charging cords and electronic accessories when you leave your vehicle.
