Texas Driving Impaired Conference Descends on Dallas 
The 2010 Texas Driving Impaired Conference is currently taking place at the Sheraton Hotel Dallas, located at 400 North Olive Street. The event runs through Wednesday, April 28, 2010, and is being hosted by the Dallas Police Department, the Irving Police Department, the Dallas Fraternal Order of Police and Sam Houston State University.
The three day conference was kicked off this morning with opening remarks from Dallas Police Assistant Chief Charles Cato and Sgt. Albert Martinez. Participants will be updated on the latest technological advances in the detection of impaired drivers as well as open discussions on this ever present problem in society today. Various exhibitors will also have booths set up to display their merchandise.
The media is welcome to visit the conference and help with getting the word out that State Law Enforcement Agencies are constantly working to make the roads a safer place.
