A public safety checkpoint will be conducted in the area of U.S. Route 20 at the Boone/Winnebago line. 
The Cherry Valley Police is releasing the following details related to a public safety checkpoint.
The checkpoint will be conducted on June 7, 2009 between the hours of 9:00pm and 3:00am.
The Cherry Valley police will be assisting the Illinois State Police in the multi-agency checkpoint to enforce DUI and other traffic offenses.
The Cherry Valley Police Department encouages you not to drink and drive and always wear you seat belt!
