Routine Vehicle Stop Leads to Arrest for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. Visit for details.

On April 6 at about 2:21 PM Chelsea N. Murphy, 19, of Aberdeen and Bret M. Sullivan, 24, of Aberdeen were arrested for possession of drugs following a motor vehicle stop.

At the intersection of Winans Avenue and Fabyan Place Officer Greg Menza observed Sullivan disregard a stop sign while driving a gray 2004 Dodge Stratus. Sullivan was stopped by Menza a short distance away and a brief investigation was conducted. This resulted in the seizure of (8) wax envelopes containing suspected heroin. Both Sullivan and Murphy were then arrested and transported to Hillside police headquarters.

They were each charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin) and released on a summons.
