EASTERN DISTRICT

STABBING ARREST MILLERSVILLE

On April 1, 2010, at approximately 6:33 p.m., officers from Eastern District responded to a wooded area in the 600 block of Old Mill Road in Millersville for a complaint of a fight.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 37-year-old male victim from Millersville, who was suffering from an apparent stab wound. Investigation revealed that the victim had been involved in a verbal altercation earlier with a male subject, who ultimately stabbed the victim with a box cutter. Officers were able to obtain a description and possible name for the suspect. After nearly two hours, officers located and arrested the suspect without incident in the Old Mill Road area. The suspect was charged with 1st Degree Assault, 2nd Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment. The victim was transported to Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries.

CDS ARRESTS CAPE ST. CLAIRE

On April 1, 2010, at approximately 10:06,p.m., officers from the Eastern District were patrolling in the area of the 1200 block of River Bay Road in Cape St. Claire when an officer noticed two occupied vehicles in the park, which was clearly marked “No Trespassing”.

When the officer pulled into the parking lot, he observed a vehicle back into a vehicle that was parked behind it. The officer approached the at fault vehicle and observed a passenger attempt to conceal something in the pocket of the car door. As a result, officers searched that area of the vehicle and recovered three bags of suspected marijuana. Consequently, all three suspects were placed under arrest. The suspected marijuana had a total weight of approximately 42.9 grams with an estimated street value of $1,287.00. Furthermore, $210.00 in U.S. currency was seized from the suspects. All three suspects were charged with numerous drug charges and released to their parents.

CDS ARREST PASADENA

On April 3, 2010, Officers from the Eastern District responded to a fight call in the 100 block of Kentucky Avenue in Pasadena.

Upon arrival, officers stopped several vehicles that were leaving the scene in an attempt to identify possible suspects. Officers approached one of the vehicles and detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the interior of the vehicle. Officers recovered approximately 110 suspected Oxycodone pills. Additionally, officers recovered and seized a plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana, amounts of suspected cocaine and $449 in U.S. currency. The seized drugs had an approximate street value of $2,850. The suspect was arrested and charged with several drug related charges.
