United Water has lifted the Boil Water Advisory throughout Hasbrouck Heights. For more info call 800-422-5987

United Water's precautionary boil water advisory for customers in Hasbrouck Heights has been lifted. It is no longer necessary for customers to boil their water. The advisory was issued following a storm-related power outage at the company’s Haworth Water Treatment Plant.

United Water submitted water sampling results to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). Upon reviewing the laboratory data, the NJDEP has confirmed that it is no longer necessary for customers to boil their water. The test results showed that the water met all standards while the advisory was in place.

In addition, water pressure has been fully restored throughout the company’s service territory, according to Jim Glozzy, vice president and general manager of United Water New Jersey. “Our crews worked around the clock to restore service as quickly as possible,” he said. “We recognize that this has been a difficult time for many people and we want to thank our customers for their patience and cooperation during this emergency.”
