Go Green! Worm Composting Class March 27th 10:00-11:30 am
Worm bins have found their way into homes, classrooms, and offices across the country as a method of reducing the amount of food waste thrown out with the garbage or down the drain. This fun and educational method of composting with worms, also produces a rich source of plant nutrients coveted by gardeners.
During this hands-on workshop, participants will put together a worm bin while learning how to successfully maintain it. The workshop will be led by environmental educator and worm enthusiast Sarah Archer.
The fee includes bin, red worms, bedding material, supplies, worm bin care guide and post-workshop support.
Participants will go home with everything they need to start worm composting that day!
