ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THIS MORNING. THE DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS NORTH AND EAST OF A LINE FROM CHATSWORTH...TO FAYETTEVILLE...TO WASHINGTON.

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE STATE TODAY. AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM...A WEDGE OF COOL AIR REMAINS IN PLACE ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA...WITH WIDESPREAD LOW CLOUDS AND DENSE FOG ACROSS THE AREA. THE FOGGY CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS...WITH SLOW IMPROVEMENT AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST LATER TODAY. AS THE COLD FRONT APPROACHES...WINDS
WILL INCREASE OUT OF THE SOUTH...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS. WINDS OF 20-30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED.
