"Internet Safety for Parents" course: Now Offered!!

The Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Department, under the direction of Chief of Police Michael Weiser, is proud to announce that on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, the department will present “Internet Safety for Parents.” This course will discuss current issues associated with children and internet use, and will include helpful pointers on how to help your children “steer clear” of online dangers. Other points of discussion will include cyber-bullying, Facebook and Myspace, and YouTube. This course is a must for parents with children who are just starting to use the internet, as well as those who have children who are well versed in the World Wide Web. “Internet Safety for Parents” will be held at 7:00 pm at the Upper Macungie Township building (large conference meeting room), which is located at 8330 Schantz Rd, Breinigsville (Lehigh County).
