Student March scheduled at UCLA today. Will severely affect traffic in Westwood. For details, see email. 
Today, Thursday March 4, 2010, there are a series of student protests scheduled thoughout the UC campuses. UCLA, Westwood, will be affected.
The permit for this activity indicates that the protesters will gather at 12:30 pm on the UCLA Campus where they will have a series of speakers and activities. At 5:30 PM they are scheduled to march south on Westwood Blvd to Lindbrook Ave, west on Lindbrook to Gayley , south on Gayley to Wilshire, east on Wilshire to Glendon, north on Glendon to Kinross, west on Kinross to Westwood, and finally north on Westwood to the campus.
The permit is for 150 people to march. We expect more. The LAPD and UCLAPD will be there with numerous assets to manage this event.
Traffic will be affected. If you have to go into Westwood this afternoon plan on possible delays.
