A fire weather watch has been issued for Monday afternoon into Early Monday evening for Northern, Central and Southeast New Hampshire

Winds will pick up on and humidity levels will decrease on Monday. During the afternoon hours winds of 10 to 20 mph will frequently gust up to 30 mph with some gusts reaching 35 mph.

Relative humidity levels will lower to the upper teens and lower 20s.

There has been very little rainfall over the past five or six days with less than a tenth of an inch of precipitation from some light rain today. Fine fuels have been able to dry out despite post green up conditions.

The fire danger will be at its worse from noon through 7:00 p.m. Monday.
