Chicago Police Sergeant, Al Haymaker, was killed on February 22nd in a traffic accident. An Honors funeral will be conducted on Friday, February 26th. A Chicago Police Honors Funeral is a solemn, respectful ceremony that befits the sacrifice of a fallen police officer. The funeral procession will proceed early Friday afternoon from the Bethel Community Church, 7601 W. Foster to Maryville Cemetery in Niles. Traffic will be affected on Harlem from Foster to Milwaukee. There may be heavy traffic delays during the procession from approximately 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The Chicago Police Department thanks everyone in advance for their patience and support.
