NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are responding to assist Hawthorne Police Department regarding an officer-involved shooting. The incident occurred on Friday, October 30, 2026, at approximately 8:33 p.m., on the 13700 block of Inglewood Avenue, Hawthorne.
The suspect was struck by gunfire and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
No officers were injured during the incident.
