The Green Bay Police Department has canceled the Silver Alert issued on Friday, September 11, 2026, for missing person Matthew Zahn, 65, of Green Bay, who has been located and confirmed deceased.
This cancellation follows the positive identification of a body discovered in the bay of Green Bay on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The identification was confirmed on Thursday, September 17, 2026, and next of kin were notified shortly thereafter.
The Green Bay Police Department is being assisted by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office in this investigation. No foul play is currently suspected, and no further details are available for release.
