On August 21, 2026, at 8:19 p.m. Deputy Eric Powell conducted a traffic stop on a White 2014 Nissan Maxima on Third Street in Owensville after observing an equipment violation on State Road 65. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Powell detected the odor of burnt Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. At that point Deputies on scene began a drug investigation. While Deputy Powell spoke with the driver, 41-year-old Jessica White of Princeton, he detected multiple clues that Mrs. White may be under the influence. At that point Deputy Powell began a roadside DUI investigation. Once the roadside investigations were completed Mrs. White was taken into custody and prepared to be transported to the Gibson County Detention Center. Mrs. White was allowed to contact her husband, 38-year-old Cameron White of Princeton to come and get a juvenile child.
Upon arriving on scene Deputies detected the odor of burnt Marijuana coming from inside Mr. White’s vehicle. At that point Deputies began a roadside drug investigation involving Mr. White. During the investigation the Department of Child Services were notified due to drug usage by both parents. Mr. White was transported back to his residence by Deputy Shawn Holmes and told that charges would be filed against him for Methamphetamines, Syringes, and Paraphernalia found.
Later DCS wished to go to Mr. White’s house to begin their investigation, and they requested law enforcement come to observe. During the investigation Deputy Holmes observed paraphernalia in plain view. At that point he requested extra units to conduct a drug investigation. Ultimately Mr. White was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Detention Center.

Possession of Methamphetamines
Dealing Cocaine
Possession of Cocaine
Possession of Paraphernalia
Neglect of a Dependent
Possession of Hypodermic Syringe
Possession of a Legend Drug
Dealing in a Controlled Substance
Possession of Psilocybin
