South Whitehall Township Public Notice: Special Meetings Regarding Project Atlas (2025-109) – Wednesday, September 9, 2026 (6PM to 10PM) – Parkland High School
South Whitehall Township will hold special meetings of the Park and Recreation Board, Environmental Advisory Council, and Landscape and Shade Tree Commission on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 (6PM to 10PM), at the location of the Parkland High School (2700 N Cedar Crest Blvd, Allentown, PA 18104) for the purpose of reviewing, discussing, and providing recommendations regarding Project Atlas (2025-109).
These agencies serve in an advisory capacity only to the Township, and their review and recommendations will not constitute final approval or denial of the proposed development.
Project Atlas is a resubmission for preliminary plan review for a proposed data center campus at 2493 North Cedar Crest Boulevard, Allentown, PA. The project site consists of three parcels totaling approximately 410.65 acres, which are proposed to be consolidated into a single parcel.
The proposed development includes three principal data center buildings, one accessory structure, and improvements associated with an existing cell tower, with a total proposed building area of approximately 1.52 million square feet.
The property is located in the Industrial (I) District and within the Planned Innovation, Research, and Technology (PIRT) District. The applicant proposes to utilize the PIRT Overlay District provisions applicable to the proposed data center use. Jeras Corporation is the property owner, and CDE Acquisitions, LLC is the purchaser/applicant.
