Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on July 31, 2026,at approximately 0107 hours, Deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a single vehicle crash in the area of M-60 and Woodlake Rd, Newberg Township, Cass County, Michigan.
Investigation showed that a vehicle driven by John Johnson (82 years old from Jones, MI) was westbound on M-60 when he had a medical emergency causing him to lose control of his vehicle and hit a guardrail. Johnson was transported by Ambulance to Three Rivers Hospital for his injuries sustained in the crash.
Assisting agencies on scene were Newberg Fire and EMS.
