Kern County Sheriff’s Office to Hold Press Conference Regarding 1978 Cold Case Investigation
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference to provide an update on a 1978 cold case involving an unidentified juvenile Jane Doe and recent developments in the investigation.

Members of the media are invited to attend as Sheriff Donny Youngblood, Detective Ashley Thompson, Deputy Coroner Manager Regina Rosso and a family member of the victim discuss significant advancements in the decades-long investigation, including details leading to the identification of the juvenile Jane Doe. Representatives involved in the investigation will be available to provide additional information and answer questions following the announcement.
