INCIDENT: PC 212.5 - Residential Robbery
LOCATION: 11000 block of Sheep Creek Road, Phelan
SUSPECT: Jesse Hernandez, 36-years-old, Resident of Phelan

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, June 09, 2026, at 9:22 a.m., deputies from the Victor Valley station responded to the 11000 block of Sheep Creek Road in Phelan following a report of a robbery.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that the suspect, later identified as Jesse Hernandez, had entered the victims’ home while he was sleeping. The victim was awakened by his dog barking and went to investigate. Upon entering the hallway, he observed an unknown male inside the residence. When confronted, the suspect immediately fled the location on foot.
After checking the residence, the victim discovered his vehicle keys were missing. Upon inspecting his vehicle, he observed damage to the ignition consistent with an attempted vehicle theft. The suspect fled the location prior to deputy arrival.
At approximately 1:18 p.m., it was reported an unknown suspect, later identified as Hernandez, was found inside of another residence by the homeowner. He was confronted and left the location. As deputies arrived they located Hernandez in a field nearby. Hernandez was arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center where he was booked for robbery.
