Green Bay Police Investigate Stabbing – 900 Block of N. Clay Street; Suspect Arrested, Victim Seriously Injured

The Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) has arrested a 29-year-old Green Bay man as a suspect in a reported stabbing that seriously injured one person on the city’s east side.

Officers were dispatched on June 2, 2026, around 10:30 a.m., to a residence in the 900 block of N. Clay Street. Upon arrival, officers rendered first aid to the victim, a 39-year-old Green Bay woman who was stabbed inside her home. She was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.

On scene, officers learned that the suspect had fled on a blue mountain bike. Following a 4-hour search, the suspect was taken into custody around 2:30 p.m. in the area of Main and Abrams streets. He was brought to the department, interviewed, and later transported to the Brown County Jail.

As a precautionary measure, the Green Bay Area Public School District placed some schools in the immediate area of the incident on a temporary “secure the building” due to an outside situation.

The investigation is ongoing. No further details are currently planned for release.
