NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to assist East Los Angeles Station with a death investigation. The incident occurred on Friday, May 22, 2026, at approximately 12:42 p.m., on the 4000 block of 1st Street in the city of East Los Angeles.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
