*UPDATE* #LASD Homicide Investigators are Assisting Bell PD with a Shooting Death Invest. 6300 Blk of Alamo Ave #Bell
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing to assist Bell Police Department with their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male juvenile.
On Friday, May 1, 2026, at approximately 5:01 pm, Officers from the Bell Police Department responded to the 6300 block of Alamo Avenue in Bell regarding a shots fired and a gunshot victim call.
During the ongoing investigation shortly after midnight a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle used in the homicide was stopped by South Gate Police Department. A person of interest was detained and transported to Bell Police Department. The person of interest detained is a male, Hispanic Juvenile.
The victim was later determined to be a 15-year-old male Hispanic and not an adult.
This incident appears to be gang related
