UPDATE:
The Tilleman/Mason Street Bridge and South Ashland Avenue have reopened after multiple early-morning crashes were cleared Wednesday, March 11, 2026, and the Department of Public Works (DPW) salted the roads.
The Tilleman/Mason Street Bridge - Westbound (WB) reopened at approximately 7:00 a.m. and the closed portion of South Ashland Avenue - Northbound (NB) reopened at approximately 8:20 a.m.
The Green Bay Police Department continues to strongly advise drivers to use extra caution on roadways. Officers have responded to additional crash reports throughout the city believed to be caused by icy roads.
Wintry weather remains in the forecast throughout the week. Please drive slowly and allow extra stopping distance.
ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
The Green Bay Police Department is advising drivers who travel the Tilleman/Mason Street Bridge and South Ashland Avenue near West Mason Street to find alternate routes of travel this morning, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, due to multiple crashes.
These crashes are believed to be caused by icy roads from the recent wintry weather.
Officers were dispatched around 5:45 a.m. to one reported traffic incident on West Mason Street near South Broadway involving mutiple vehicles and another reported traffic incident at 6:15 a.m. on South Ashland Avenue near West Mason Street involving a single vehicle.
At this time, one minor injury has been reported by vehicle occupants.

Tilleman/Mason Street Bridge - Westbound (WB)
South Ashland Avenue - Northbound (NB)
