On March 10, 2026, at 7:07 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of threats and harassment that had taken place at a residence in the 8400 block of East 900 South. Deputies with the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the area and upon arriving an investigation began into the complaint. After speaking with all parties involved in the incident Deputy Shawn Holmes placed 54-year-old Christopher Cason into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Detention Center. Upon arriving at the detention center Mr. Cason was charged with Trespassing and Battery.
Deputies Wyatt Hunt, Bart Wagner, and Sgt. Loren Barchett assisted in this investigation.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
