A Modesto donut shop was robbed early Sunday evening. No one was hurt during the incident.
On Sunday, at about 5:50 PM, a man walked into the "WE" Donut shop at 2207 Scenic Drive. He jumped the counter and forced the clerk to remove money from the register. No weapon was seen and the female clerk was uninjured.
The man, a black male in his 30's, was last seen leaving the parking lot in a newer model pick-up; possibly a Ford. The truck was last seen southbound on El Vista Avenue. The suspect is further described as being 5-10 tall, weighing 190 pounds. He was wearing a red shirt and black shorts.
