FRUITPORT TWP. POLICE DEPARTMENT INVESTIGATING THE SUSPICIOUS DEATH OF AN ELEVEN YEAR OLD CHILD. 
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
On Sunday, November 23rd at approximately 5:45 p.m., the Fruitport Township Police Department was dispatched to the Clover Estates Mobile Home Park in Fruitport, MI in order to investigate the report of an unresponsive eleven year old female child.
Upon officer’s arrival, the child was found unresponsive and emergency personnel were not able to revive her. The mother of the child was ultimately taken into custody and lodged at the Muskegon County Jail, pending charges by the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office.
This case remains under investigation by Fruitport Twp. Police Department and the mother of the victim is expected to be charged and arraigned tomorrow in Muskegon County.
