Michigan Man Arrested as Green Bay Police Investigate Hit-and-Run Crash; Green Bay Man Hospitalized

The Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) is asking for any witnesses to come forward as it investigates the events leading up to a hit-and-run crash on the city’s west side. An 18-year-old Michigan man is jailed as a result, and a 20-year-old Green Bay man is hospitalized.

On Sunday, November 23, 2025, officers were dispatched around 4:00 p.m. to the 100 block of S. Fisk Street for a black SUV that crashed into several garages and fled. On scene, officers located a man on a garage floor with significant injuries believed to be a result of being struck by a moving vehicle. They also found a handgun later determined to have been previously reported as stolen.

Thus far, witnesses have described hearing gunshots shortly before the crash, and our initial investigation indicates that an altercation occurred involving the driver, the victim, and another unidentified individual whom we are seeking to interview.

The driver of the vehicle was located just before 6:00 p.m. at a residence in Oneida with the assistance of the Oneida Police Department and brought to GBPD before being transported to Brown County Jail.

No additional details are planned for release at this time.
