Search for Lobeco man ends as remains located believed to be him 
Update as of 7:15 p.m.: The search for Mr. Bussey Sr has ended. A deceased individual, believed to be him, was located eaelier this evening. Any additional information would be released by the Beaufort County Coroner’s Office.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office asks for the public's help locating missing and endangered 79-year-old Isaac Bussey Sr. He was reported missing to the Sheriff's Office last night, Friday, November 21, 2025.
Bussey’s last known location was around Old Rail Bed Rd. in Lobeco. Bussey left home to go shrimping, but no one has been able to make contact with him since 3pm on Friday. He was last seen wearing dark pants, a light-colored long-sleeved shirt, and a dark-colored hat. He also may have a white or blue plastic barrel with him
He is described as 5'7" and weighs about 142 lbs.
There is concern for his well-being.
