The Green Bay Police Department is actively investigating a report of shots fired on the city’s west side and is asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
On Sunday, October 26, 2025, just before 12:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Western Avenue after receiving reports of possible gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, witnesses indicated that shots may have been exchanged between two people, one person in a vehicle and another on foot, both of whom fled the scene.
No injuries have been reported at this time; however, officers have located evidence confirming that gunfire occurred.
