911 call leads to arrest of Oakland City duo. 
On October 15, 2025, at 11:53 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of an active disturbance in the 200 block of North Mulberry Street in Oakland City. Deputy Quinten Might arrived on scene and upon viewing obvious signs of struggle he began an investigation into the incident. At the conclusion of the investigation, Deputy Might placed 43-year-old Nari Parks and 38-year-old Breona Wilson both of Oakland City into custody. Both individuals were transported to the Gibson County Detention Center. Upon arriving at the detention facility Nari Parks was charged with Battery With a Deadly Weapon. Breona Wilson was charged with Battery.
Deputy Bryan Small and Oakland City University Police Chief Michael McGregor assisted Deputy Might in his investigation.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
