Rural Crimes Task Force Continues Their Train Burglary Investigations, Arrest 14 Suspects, and Recover Approximately $55,000

SUSPECT(S): Jose Rodriguez Cecena, age of 28, resident of Hesperia
                        Tomas Valdez Olivares, age of 25, resident of Hesperia
                        Jesus Jimenez Gonzalez, age 24, resident of Hesperia
                        Johan Camargo Salazar, age of 25, resident of Hesperia
                        Juan Oliveras Valdez, age of 27, resident of Hesperia
                        Jesus Fierro Escalante, age of 22, resident of Hesperia
                        Leobardo Corral Corrales, age of 46, resident of Westminster
                        Juan Jimenez Garcia, age of 29, resident Hesperia

SUMMARY: 
On Monday, October 6, 2025, at 6:30 am, investigators from the Rural Crimes Task Force, with the assistance of BNSF railroad police, and the Hesperia Station Detective Bureau, served a search warrant in the 14600 block of Willow Street, in Hesperia. The search warrant is based on an ongoing investigation related to recent train burglaries within the Victor Valley area. 

As investigators arrived at the location, seven suspects attempted to flee the residence. With the assistance of Sheriff’s Aviation and Hesperia Station deputies, all seven suspects were quickly apprehended and transported back to the residence. An additional seven suspects were located inside of the residence.

During the service of the search warrant, investigators located property stolen from BNSF railroad. The stolen property is valued at approximately $42,500 and was returned to BNSF.  Investigators also located approximately $55,000 in U.S. currency.

The 14 suspects were arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center.
