Advisory: Multiple residents have reported that they received messages from Mayor Armstead addressing them by name and requesting assistance "discreetly." If the recipient responds, they are asked to purchase gift cards as a gift for city employees.
These messages are a scam. If you believe you have been contacted by the Mayor, or if you have questions about the authenticity of communication from any City Official, please contact the Mayor's Office at (908) 474-8493.
