LOCATION: 16800 block of D Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Enrique Rivas, 25-year-old Resident of Adelanto
VICTIM(S): Male Adult
SUMMARY: On Saturday, September 13, 2025, at approximately 1:10 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Station were dispatched to the ARCO gas station at Seventh Street and D Street, following a report of an armed robbery.
Preliminary investigation revealed two Hispanic male suspects approached a victim who waited for a ride at the location. During the encounter, the victim was struck in the head with a hard object. One of the suspects, later identified as Enrique Rivas, lifted his shirt to show a handgun tucked into his waistband and threatened to shoot the victim if he did not comply.
The victim, who was recently unhoused, sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He was also connected with resources and provided shelter as part of the department's ongoing support efforts.
On Monday, September 29, 2025, deputies and detectives from the Victorville Police Station, with support from the Sheriff’s Aviation Unit, served a search warrant at Rivas' residence on the 11000 block of Hardy Avenue in Adelanto. During the search, multiple weapons and evidence related to the armed robbery were recovered. Enrique Rivas was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. 211- Robbery, P.C. 245(A)(1) - Assault with a Deadly Weapon, P.C. 182(A)(1) - Conspiracy.
