Green Bay Police Investigate Shots Fired near Roosevelt & Stuart Streets; Property Damage, No Reported Injuries
The Green Bay Police Department is actively investigating a case of shots fired on the city’s east side and asking any witnesses to come forward with suspect information.
No injuries have been reported; however, there has been the discovery of some property damage consistent with the appearance of bullet holes.
On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, around 12:15 a.m., officers were in the 1100 block of Stuart Street for a reported suspicious situation when multiple residents in the area informed them of hearing the sound of nearby gunfire prior to their on-scene arrival but had no further details to share with police.
Officers then self-dispatched to the vicinity of the reported shots fired and located evidence of gunfire in the 1100 block of Stuart Street and the 200 block of S Roosevelt Street, along with bullet holes in two nearby vehicles.
While investigating, officers observed a firearm inside a vehicle registered to a convicted felon that was parked in the driveway of a residence in the 200 block of S Roosevelt Street. A search warrant was then obtained for the home, where additional firearms and drugs were found.
As a result, police arrested a 23-year-old Green Bay man on a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon and transported him to the Brown County Jail. A charge of maintaining a drug trafficking place is also being referred against a 22-year-old Green Bay woman. At this time, it is unknown whether either individual is connected to the shots fired incident.
Officers on the scene were assisted by the SWAT team, Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT), Neighborhood Response Team (NRT), and forensics personnel.
No more information will be released at this time.
