NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide investigators are assisting Compton Station personnel with a shooting death investigation involving the death of an adult victim.
On Wednesday, September 24th, at approximately 3:30 AM, Compton Station deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call for service at the 700 block of West Cherry Street, in the city of Compton. Compton Fire Department personnel also responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
This investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.
