UNIT: Special Enforcement Bureau - Lieutenant Alex Kim
NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Norwalk Station with a barricaded armed suspect. The incident was reported Monday, September 8, 2025 at approximately 9:34 a.m., on the 12000 block of Cedarvale Street in the city of Norwalk.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) is attempting to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful conclusion.
The surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
