INCIDENT: Multiple Shoplifting Incidents at Ulta Beauty Lead to Arrest
LOCATION 1: 18821 Bear Valley Road, Apple Valley
LOCATION 2: 12765 Main Street, Hesperia
SUSPECT 1: Jayro Rojas Gonzalez, 24-year-old male out of Nevada
SUSPECT 2: Ariel Fernandez Milian, 38-year-old male out of Nevada
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, August 31, 2025, deputies with the Apple Valley Station responded to Ulta Beauty and investigated a theft involving $668 worth of stolen merchandise. The suspects were not present at the scene when deputies arrived; however, the vehicle used by the suspects was identified.
On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, deputies were notified of another theft in progress at the same location involving the same suspects, later identified as Jayro Rojas Gonzalez and Ariel Fernandez Milian. Deputies responded and determined Rojas Gonzalez had stolen approximately $1434 worth of cologne but fled the location with Fernandez Milian before deputies arrived.
Later the same day, Rojas Gonzalez and Fernandez Milian were also involved in a theft at the Hesperia Ulta Beauty, where approximately $254 of merchandise was stolen. Deputies located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in Hesperia. Both Fernandez Milian and Rojas Gonzalez were detained without incident and subsequently booked at High Desert Detention Center. Fernandez Milian was booked for conspiracy, organized retail theft and grand theft. Rojas Gonzalez was booked for conspiracy and grand theft. Both are being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
The stolen merchandise was returned to Ulta Beauty.
