SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 2:10 am, deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to a report of a burglary in the 9000 block of Alta Mesa Avenue, in Phelan.
The victim reported two suspects were inside his residence, and heard noise coming from another bedroom. The victim retrieved a handgun, chased the suspects through the house, and fired off rounds towards the suspects. The suspects exited the residence and fled the scene before deputies arrived. It is unknown if either suspect was hit by the rounds.
