Sex Offender Arrested For Child Pornography 
In April of 2025, the Janesville Police Department received information that a 36-year-old convicted sex offender was communicating with a child in Ohio. Over the next 4 months, detectives from the Janesville and Delavan Police Departments served search warrants on electronics and interviewed the suspect. Child pornography was located on the suspect’s cellular phone.
On September 2nd, 2025, around 3:30 p.m. the suspect, Tyler Minarick, was arrested in the 3600 block of Milton Avenue. Tyler was held at the Rock County Jail pending his initial court appearance.
