Mayor Derek Armstead, in cooperation with the Mayor's Youth Commission, Communities in Cooperation, Inc, and the Linden Department of Parks & Recreation will host a Backpack Giveaway event today 5pm - 7pm at the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, located at 400 N. Wood Ave. Linden students can receive a free backpack and supplies, sign up for a free Library card, and enjoy free games, activities, and entertainment, including a special guest performance by Saul Paul.
This event is open to Linden residents only. Proof of residency is required. Registration will be available at the event.
