Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of three adults in an area of Unincorporated Lake Los Angeles. The incident occurred on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at approximately 4:48 p.m.
Deputies from Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded to 215th Street East and East Avenue Q in the Unincorporated area of Lake Los Angeles regarding a report of gunshots. During their response, the call was upgraded to multiple gunshot victims at the location. Upon arrival, deputies located the three victims seated in two vehicles suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and pronounced all three victims deceased on scene.
Investigators learned the two male victims were traveling westbound on Avenue Q in a full-size SUV. The third victim was following in a second vehicle directly behind the other victims. The suspect approached in a vehicle from the west. The suspect shot the victims and fled the scenesouthbound on 215th Street.
One of the male victims has been identified as a male Hispanic 44-years-old. The second male victim has not been identified, however he appears to be a male Hispanic in his 40's, and the third victim has been identified as a female Hispanic, 65-years-old.
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there's no information available at this time.

The victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
