Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to assist East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station with a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Saturday, August 16, 2025, at approximately 2:24 a.m. in the 5000 block of Whittier Boulevard, in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
