Simi Valley residents are invited to the annually celebrated National Night Out!

Join us for a memorable evening of community engagement featuring local K9 demonstrations, face painting, vendor booths, giveaways and many more exciting activities. Enjoy food, games, music, and meet your neighbors, local law enforcement, and first responders. Bring your family, a friend, or just yourself—we’d love to see you there!

Don’t miss out on our special guests for the evening! Rampage, the mascot for the Los Angeles Rams will be here as well as our local duck whisperer. Come out and rescue a duck with us.

There will also be performances from community members every half hour including singers, dancers, Jiu Jitsu and Boxing.

What is National Night Out?
National Night Out (NNO) is a nationwide community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and ignites neighborhood unity to make our communities safer, more connected, and more resilient. This event is held on the first Tuesday in August and is celebrated nationally.

NNO began in 1984, organized by the nonprofit National Association of Town Watch (NATW). What started as a simple front porch light campaign has grown into a national celebration involving millions of people in thousands of communities.

Red Robin, California Pizza Kitchen, Buffalo Wild Wings, Studio Movie Grill, Rambo’s Hot Chicken and Meera’s Coffee and Plants have generously offered discounted dining prices to promote community comradery.

If you feel inclined to donate any items to give back to our community, Ventura County Animal Services will be accepting; towels/blankets, pet food, pet crates, Portable pet play pens, sponges, dryer sheets(lavender), dish soap, bleach and collars and leashes. Please make sure these items are new and unopened.

Do you have any school supplies that you no longer need? The Simi Valley Unified School District will have a school supply drive that will help students get the items they need. They will be accepting items such as pencils, pens, binders, tissues, glue sticks and many more supplies that are new and unused.

*Please check our Police Department social media platforms for information on the donation drives. *

We would also like to thank our sponsors for being able to hold such a memorable event. The Simi Valley Police Foundation, The Simi Valley Town Center, Minuteman Press and Costco have all taken part in making this event flourish!
