Traffic Collision Investigation

 
On Sunday, August 3, 2025, at approximately 1:47 PM, Culver City Police responded to a major traffic collision near Canterbury Drive and Green Valley Circle. The incident involved an adult male driver who struck multiple parked vehicles.

The driver remained at the scene and was evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries before being transported to a local hospital.
Several individuals were injured as a result of the collision:

• A female adult standing near a parked vehicle suffered serious injuries.
• An adult male and a child inside a struck vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

All injured parties were transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Culver City Police Department’s Traffic Investigators and Forensics Unit responded to process the scene. Preliminary investigation indicates the driver was traveling northbound on Canterbury Drive when the collision occurred. Upon release from the hospital, the driver was arrested and booked at the Culver City Jail for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Canterbury Drive between Green Valley Circle and Kensington Way was temporarily closed to allow for a thorough investigation.
