Deputies Pursue Stolen Vehicle; Suspects Flee on Foot after Driving through a Yard and Colliding with Two Vehicles

SUMMARY: On Monday, July 30, 2025, at approximately 4:20 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a notification of a reported stolen vehicle in the area of Roy Rogers Drive and Civic Drive.
Deputies conducted an area check and located a 2018 Kia Optima matching the description of the stolen vehicle at the intersection of Reno Loop East and Hook Boulevard. Deputies initiated a traffic stop, the vehicle failed to yield, and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle’s driver drove through the backyard of a residence in the 12000 block of Camellia Road. The vehicle exited through the residence's front yard and crashed into a parked vehicle before colliding into a Sheriff’s patrol unit at the scene.
Two occupants exited the vehicle and fled the scene of the collision. Deputies conducted an area check, but no suspects were located.
