Narrative:
On 07/10/25, at approximately 8:23 p.m., Sheriff’s Dispatch received multiple calls stating a male had been stabbed at a residence in the 2900 block of Crescent Way in Thousand Oaks.  When deputies arrived, they found a male subject suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds.  The male was transported to Los Robles Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  The investigation revealed Miguel Cano stabbed the victim with a knife and was seen fleeing the scene with the murder weapon in a blue-colored, 2002, Dodge, truck with a California license plate of 7K43579.

Investigators with the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau assumed responsibility for the investigation and are actively investigating the incident as a homicide.
