MISSING PERSON(S): Nai Ping Hou, 74-year-old Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
UPDATE: July 9, 2025 – The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is releasing additional information in an ongoing effort to generate new leads in the investigation surrounding the disappearance of Nai Ping Hou. Detectives have determined extensive fraudulent transactions were conducted using Mr. Hou’s bank accounts around the time of his disappearance.
Furthermore, investigators believe Mr. Hou’s cellular phone was used by an unknown individual(s) who impersonated him to communicate with family members.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Nai Ping Hou is urged to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department or provide anonymous tips through We-Tip at the numbers listed below.
SUMMARY: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the suspicious disappearance of 74-year-old Nai Ping Hou, a resident of Rancho Cucamonga. Hou was reported missing by family members on May 4, 2025.
Mr. Hou is described as an Asian male, 5’07” tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds. He has black hair, black eyes, and has a birth mark on his left upper shoulder. Additionally, investigators are seeking information about a silver Toyota Yaris, similar to that in the attached photograph, in connection to Mr. Hou’s disappearance.
